"The computer can't tell you the emotional story.
It can give you the exact mathematical design, but what's missing is the eyebrows."
-Frank Zappa
Here's my story to date in a few short sentences.
I got my first camera at age 6. A 110 instamatic. The same time I got my first bike. A Huffy. After a few years of taking pictures of our dog, or my sister, or my sister with our dog, biology finally kicked in and I realized I could meet girls doing this.
I worked in the school yearbook from age 12. After high school I enrolled in a tech school for computer programming. Shortly there after, I got a job with a photography studio running the darkroom to help pay for my education and Grateful Dead tickets.
After a while I realize that writing computer language makes me very sleepy. I much preferred making images, so I dropped out of school and worked in the studio full time.
Who knew that today the nerds would be getting all the girls. Now here I am, full circle with a computer/camera/music/phone in my hip pocket, still learning, meeting cool people, and painting a picture anyway I can, or roaming the countryside on one of my bikes.
My Mom said I like to tell stories. I'd love to tell a story for you!
